This free two-day workshop will help you see the world differently... Professor Stuart Townley will guide you on a journey from your own calculations to scientific computing using state-of-the art software. You will be exploring real world questions – how do we measure risk and uncertainty? – how does Amazon minimize its delivery costs? – what do tipping points look like in the context of climate change? You will be assisted in the exploration of your own mathematical enquiries and have a chance to model them and bring them to life using sophisticated software. A unique opportunity!
