A timely exploration of local participation and democracy, making sense of structures which are already in place. This rich and varied event will provide an introduction to Cornish Studies. Dr Garry Tregidga of the University of Exeter will be talking about Cornish symbols of identity, cultural memory and the political history of Cornwall. He will be joined by Matt Blewett, who will be sharing his current research on civic society and the marks left by the landscape on Cornish cultural heritage.
